CAN MY CHILDREN PLAY IN THE YARD DURING A BUZZ KILL MOSQUITO SOLUTIONS TREATMENT?
Children and pets should be kept away during application and for the proceeding 30 minutes it takes for the treatment to dry. Under normal conditions, Buzz Kill applications should dry in 30 minutes. When dry, there is negligible opportunity for the product to transfer to people or pets who brush against the vegetation which was sprayed.
HOW CAN THE BARRIER SPRAY CONTINUE TO KILL MOSQUITOES FOR 21 DAYS?
Mosquitoes will feed on plant and vegetation juices. When they attempt to feed on sprayed leaves, the residual from the spray will kill them.
WILL THE SMELL OF THE ORGANIC SPRAY BOTHER ME?
The odor of the misting spray is mild to the human nose and should be completely unnoticeable in 2 hours or less.

HOW OFTEN WILL MY YARD BE SERVICED?
With our Barrier Application Program, your mosquito specialist will visit your property every 21-25 days throughout the mosquito season. Mosquito season is typically from April through October
with July, August and September being the months of the highest mosquito population.
DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR THE TREATMENTS?
No. And we’ll leave a notice or yard sign so you know for certain that your service has been provided.
CAN I JUST GET A “ONE-TIME TREATMENT” FOR A SPECIAL OUTDOOR GATHERING?
Absolutely! Our Special Event Service is available for everything from a small pool or birthday
party to a large wedding reception. Special event treatments can be provided 24-48 hours before the event and will remain effective even if it rains.
BESIDES PROFESSIONAL MOSQUITO CONTROL TREATMENTS, ARE THERE STEPS I CAN TAKE TO PROTECT MY FAMILY FROM MOSQUITOES?
Yes there are:
Eliminate standing water!
Tip or turn over plant saucers, children’s plastic toys, or any other objects that capture water. Toss out water collecting objects that cannot be tipped or turned over. Remove any outdoor tarps. Clean gutters so standing water will not accumulate. Remove old or unused tires as these are a favorite breeding ground of the tree hole mosquitoes that cause encephalitis. If tires cannot be removed (for instance, if you have tire swing), drill drainage holes in the lowest portion and monitor these holes to assure they don’t become blocked.
Any standing water that cannot be eliminated should be treated. If practical, circulate the water, perhaps by adding a fountain. If you have a working swimming pool, run the filter the recommended number of hours per day. Change water in bird baths weekly.
